Who can join?

  • If you are an employee of one of the member companies of association you can join the Scheme.
  • You can apply to join the Scheme after you have been with your employer for two consecutive seasons.
  • If you were made redundant by the first employer and are working for another employer within the meat industry you can also apply to join.
  • An employer can also invite an employee to apply to join the Scheme even if the employee has not been employed for two consecutive completed seasons.

As part of Financial Markets Conduct Act regulations, the Scheme must notify you that the Scheme’s product disclosure statement has been updated. The Scheme is also required to provide an annual Fund Update. These documents are now available and can be accessed from the Scheme Documents section of the website or on the Disclose website, www.companiesoffice.govt.nz/disclose (search MISS on the offer register).
